Default Collector armor question..

Recently I have been going the other way with my armor, with everyone going for more and more expensive armors, I have been going for the cheap variety, collector item sets!

I just noticed that you can get a set in crystal desert, and also in the shiverpeaks.. are they the same stuff?

Stat wise they are identical. The one in the shiverpeaks do cost more (in terms of the number of collector items needed).

nope theyre pretty much the same. if the stats are the same, they function the same. most people buy expensive armor for looks. i have a 15k platemail on my chest and waist, and use stonefist gauntlets for knocking down running targets, and knights boots for dmg absorption

Strange...

I was wondering why it costs more.

For instance I got my chest piece using 5 bleached carapaces, but here is is 7 huge jawbones. And likewise for leggings it was 5 dune burrower jawbones, but here it is 7 frigid hearts.

And yeap, frigids hearts are pretty hard to come by!
